Burgwalden with its 10+ years of experience as a financial advisory firm serving the global language industry wanted to build a novel, SaaS platform with language provider's data that could help in taking data-driven strategic decisions. It was also built ground up with the help of a young remote team in India! As the first hire, I was responsible for the product, right from conception to MVP.

Ai Health Highway has designed & manufactured AiSteth (Ai-enabled smart stethoscope) that has the potential to screen, detect and predict heart and lung disorders using state-of-the-art signal processing and ML capabilities. The goal is to empower doctors to auscultate accurately with ease. Here again I was the first hire and tasked with creating a visualization product that can help 'see the sound' on a smartphone. I worked closely with signal processing experts at IISc (professors and PhD students) and data science colleagues to build algorithms for denoising, classification and visualization on heart sounds (normal & abnormal). I collaborated with doctors to collect data and understand the product requirements and developed a PRD for visualization.
Deliverables:
1. Two scientific publications in IEEE.
2. Algorithms for visualization of denoised heart sounds.
3. Setting up data collection processes and AWS storage for audio files.  

Niramai detects breast cancer by using thermal imaging. The team had developed ML algorithms that analyse skin surface patterns to detect malignancy and were searching for ways to get the depth of the tumor. I was hired to develop 3D analysis which can calculate the depth of the tumor and also build a three dimensional visualization that can help doctors make better screening, diagnostic and prognostic decisions. I was in-charge of 'Depth' as a product and worked closely with doctors, ML colleagues and professors to develop a simulation that generates the internal heat pattern of a malignant breast using which depth analysis and visualization can be done.
Deliverables:
1. Developed numerical simulation models to mimic heat transfer inside a breast based on heat transfer analysis and built on open source software like OpenFOAM.
2. Built a visualization platform, based on open source scientific visualization framework ParaView, that could assist doctors to visualize a breast.
3. Hosted simulation and visualization as Docker Containers on AWS.
4. Developed a Flask application which enabled these services to be invoked via an API.
5. Set up the research and processes and led a team of 2 interns.
